Fruit Fall

This month (actually April, but I completed it in May instead), I've created a Flash Game:

A farmer, miserable with the drought, asked a wizard to bring rain to his crops. Too bad the spells worked the wrong way.

But hey-it's raining fruits! Move your basket with Arrow keys (or A and D) to collect as many of them as possible! It's not a good idea to collect all of them, though. For example, your basket could not stand the weight of a watermelon. As a reference of which fruit gives how many point, go to Instructions>Points.

Hopefully, all fruits (and a chocolate piece) are recognizable. I'm not sure if I have made a convincing blueberry.

My friend suggested that my games need a good storyline, so I came up with the back story in a form of a comic:

Magic only looks so easy.

A short game needs a short story, and glancing though pictures is more convenient than reading through words IMO.

The fruits seems to jerked a little when captured or fall beyond the screen. Not sure if that's a bug or my computer just lagged. Probably just my imagination.

Maybe I could have made the comic more consistent to the game's graphics by not using black line, but on the other hand, the black lines contrasts the bright blue sky, and I wouldn't imagine the darker colours to contrasts it better.
